About Me

I’m counting down to a quarter century since graduating from the University of Guelph. Since Guelph I have been involved in several diverse areas including chemicals, communications, and crop insurance. Three years ago I worked with a team looking at financing strategies for farmers and food processors. Big lessons learned – the need to create awareness, network, and build relationships in this emerging industry. For me communicating to farmers about renewable energy and energy conservation is the merging of many passions. To help move this along at cyber speed, Julie the blogger is born.
