Prince Edward Island 4-H Council Scholarship

Entrance Scholarship - $1000

The P.E.I. 4-H Council is offering a $1000 scholarship to a Grade 12 graduate* from a recognized Island school of learning in the year that the scholarship is awarded. Either an academic or general standing will be accepted.

2. Candidates must have been a 4-H member for 2 years, including the year the scholarship is awarded.

3. Candidates must be continuing on into formal education at a recognized post-secondary institution of learning (i.e. trade school, university, college, etc.) the year the award is received.

4. Candidates will be selected based on the following:
a) 4-H history
b) community involvement
c) goals and ambitions
d) essay
e) interview

5. The following must be received by the Provincial 4-H Office
a) application form
b) one reference letter
c) an essay (500 - 750 words) on the following topic:

“From what you have learned in 4-H, how can it help you to be successful in furthering your education and your career?”

* Applicants entering a post-secondary institution of learning upon successful completion of Grade 11 are also eligible.
