Canada Study Grant For Female Doctoral Students

In an effort to expand women's participation in doctoral studies, particularly in disciplines in which they are traditionally under represented (see list below), the Federal Government has made Canada Study Grants available to female doctoral students with demonstrated financial need.

Students who qualify and who are taking programs that start after August 1st, 2001 will have this grant automatically applied to their BCSAP funding. The grant is up to $3,000 a loan year and replaces the equivalent amount of student loan funding. It is available for up to three years of study.
