2006 Managing Excellence in Agriculture Conference
“Succeeding in Agriculture: A Vision for the Future”
With the close of our 2006 Managing Excellence in Agriculture conferences,
the Canadian Farm Business Management Council would like to thank all those
involved -from planning to attendance!
If you attended, we hope you enjoyed the conference and we welcome your
feedback!
If you were unable to make it this year, we do hope you’ll be
able to join us next year! Keep watching this page for updates.
Here are just a few things that helped to make the conferences a success:
Family pricing
We encouraged families to attend together because we believe businesses
are most effective when they learn together. Family pricing helped
families get there affordably. Childcare was offered on-site, and there
were many activities available to keep small ones busy while the adults
attended the conference as a team.
Interactive Sessions
Workshops, breakout sessions, and opportunities for Q&A. Many speakers
stayed for the entire conference to make themselves available
to the delegates
Outstanding Speakers
And many more, including active Canadian Farmers who shared their
innovative and successful approaches to farming! Click here to view
the video presentation given by Philip and Luanne Lynn – progressive
farmers from Lucan, ON.

The team at the Canadian Farm Business Management Council enjoyed
meeting many of you throughout the 2.5-day conferences. As part of
our devotion to making leading-edge farm management information accessible
to all farmers, we invite you to share with us your conference experience,
and how the information you picked up during your 2.5-day stay has
been applicable back home on the farm.
