Co-hosted by NewSeed Advisors and Avrio Ventures
Hilton Toronto
145 Richmond Street West
Toronto, Ontario M5H 2L2
On Tuesday, October 19, 2010, the conversation of sustainable agriculture investment will move north to Toronto. This edition of Agriculture 2.0, co-hosted by NewSeed Advisors and Avrio Ventures of Calgary, will bring together hundreds of attendees from both sides of the farm gate, including entrepreneurs, investors, retailers, agri-food and agri-business leaders, industry experts and journalists, all united by the common goal of driving the growth of sustainable agriculture and healthful food systems in Canada and beyond. With a focus on education, networking, and collaboration between investors with a growing interest in the sustainable agriculture sector and entrepreneurs with relevant services and technologies, Agriculture 2.0 will be the meeting place for sustainable agriculture investment in Canada.
Agriculture 2.0 will once again feature a competitive application process for entrepreneurs to present proprietary investment opportunities to our targeted audience of investors and industry professionals. Sixteen such entrepreneurs will be selected by jury. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis with a final deadline of September 3, 2010.
